Youth Committee Members

Region Q Youth Committee Workforce Investment Boards through their Youth Committee serve as the vehicle to develop comprehensive and integrated strategies to help in-school and out-of-school youth prepare for successful entry into the workforce. The Youth Committee is comprised of people from Region Q’s five counties -Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Martin & Pitt.
WIA Youth Program The WIA Youth Program is designed for eligible youth, ages 14-21, who require additional assistance to succeed in education or employment. The program includes opportunities for assistance in academic or occupational learning; development of leadership skills; and preparation for further education, additional training and employment.
